Prof. Kevin M. Scott Gave a Report in IMHE TEXT SIZE: A A A

Prof. Kevin M. Scott , CAS foreign expert from United States Geological Survey in geology and debris flow area, gave a report entitled The Past is the Key to the Future--Mountain Hazards in Southwest China in Chengdu Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment (IMHE) on May 21th, 2010.

 
 Prof. Kevin M. Scott gave a report in IMHE

Prof. Scott came to work in IMHE since 2009 under the support of CAS foreign expert project. Prof. Scott said in his speech that the past is the key to the future, and doing research on landslide and debris flow induced by paleoearthquake, paleoclimate and paleohydrology can provide reference to the disaster prevention work.

Prof. CUI Peng preside over the report. Nearly 40 researchers and students from IMHE attended the report.
