27,June, a meeting on acceptance of 2011 annual contract of Wanzhou Key Regional Ecology and Environment Monitoring Station (WREEMS)was held in Chengdu . An expert group organized by Reservoir Management Division (RMD) of State Council Three Gorges Committee Execute Office was invited to presented the meeting . Vice director of Chengdu Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, CAS(IMHE), Wen Anbang, Dr. Wang Yukuan head as well as stuff members of the station took part in the meeting.
Wen Anbang sent his warm welcome to the coming of expert group and a lot of thanks to the support and guidance from the Reservoir Management Division.
Following the report of Dr. Wang Yukuan about the annual works of the station, expert group headed by vice director of RMD, Mr.Zhou Wei gave a consensus comment: the station has complete all contracted tasks and the annual contract can be accepted.
Mr. Zhow Wei expressed a full affirmation to the station’s works in his conclusion address and hoped that the station should make persistent efforts to strengthen scientific study contributing subsequent planning of the three gorge project and update research capacity and expand impact to the regional sustainable development.
