Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMHE, CAS) - Integrated Research on Disaster Risk (IRDR) Cooperation Meeting was held in IMHE on February, 22, 2017.  

Dr. ZHOU Gongdan from IMHE gave the brief Introduction of IMHE first, and then focused on the Key International Research Project of CAS: Natural Hazards Risk Reduction along the Two Silk Roads. 

Dr.Rajib SHAW, Director of IRDR, introduced the strategy of IRDR and gave a report titled “Science Advocacy in Disaster Risk Reduction: Issues and Potentials”. 

Both sides discussed the cooperation between IMHE and IRDR, especially how to promote the project.
