2016 International Debris-Flow Workshop | Prof. CHEN Xiaoqing, deputy director of Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMHE, CAS) led an 11-person team to attend the workshop. During the meeting, Prof. CHEN Xiaoqing, HU Kaiheng, LI Yong and ZHOU Gongdan made presentation titled “Characteristics of the debris-flow drainage channel with “step-pool” configuration”、"Experimental study of entrainment behavior of debris flow over channel inflexion points” 、“Organized grain composition in debris flow”、and “A new theoretical method for analyzing confined granular debris flow” respectively. After the meeting, IMHE team visited the mountain hazards and engineering control measure of Rokko mountains areas.
