The second “Research and Networking” delegation visited Chengdu, guided by Dr. Diederik Prakke, Head of Human and Institutional Development, ICIMOD on July 6-11th 2009. Chinese Committee of ICIMOD (CNICIMOD) received the delegation.

Afghanistan delegation visited the Exhibition Room of IMHE, Dynamics Laboratory and Amphibian Museum of CIB. They also visited Dujiangyan Dam Project, Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding and Intangible Cultural Heritage Park. Prof. Deng Wei, Secretary General of CNICIMOD, Director of IMHE and Prof. Wei Fangqiang played host to and presented the memento to the delegation.
