Both sides exchanged views on various disasters, including landslides and floods triggered by earthquakes. After that, they agreed to do another spot test on geological disasters in Hongkou next year to provide reliable data for disasters’ monitoring and early-warning.
The exchange between the two countries not only deepens the knowledge on mechanism of various disasters, but also strengthens bilateral cooperation, paving the way for the sound implementation of the key program for international S&T cooperation projects of China “The Distribution and Risk Evaluation of Landslides Triggered by Earthquakes”.
