Last year, three graduate students from The University of Bergen were sent to Alpine Ecosystem Observation and Experiment Station of Mt. Gongga, and this year IMHE also sent three graduate students to Norway.
Three students went to Norway Finse Station in the period of May to August this year, and learned the field observation survey of population and community characteristics change since seed germination and seeding establishment. They also attended the summer semester of ResClim/Impact2C/NansenZhu, and participated in the training course of ecology quantitative methods and software. Besides, they joined the discussion of new progress of International cooperation programme.
Thanks for the exchange, students from IMHE and Norway developed the exchange and discussion on the responding mechanism and observation method of mountain plants to climate warming in cold area. This journey not only broadens their vision in this field but alos improved their research ability.
