Prof. Huang Chengquanfrom University of Maryland visited IMHE and delieved a speech titled “Recent Advances in Forest and Wetland Assessment using Remote Sensing”on June 17, 2015.
In his ’s speech, Prof. Huang indicated that remote sensing provides an important tool for forest assessment and recent advances in time series analysis and LiDAR、InSAR remote sensing make it possible to derive many forest attributes that were difficult to characterize using conventional remote sensing capability. This talk provided a review of recent advances in these areas and discussed future opportunities for improving forest assessment using remote sensing.
