At the invitation of Prof. DENG Wei, Prof.Vishwambhar Prasad Sati from Mizoram University, Aizawl, India, visited Institute of Mountain Hazards and Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMHE, CAS) and gave a presentation titled “Sustainable Livelihood Approach to Poverty Reduction in Mizoram, Himalaya” on September 27, 2016.

Prof. Vishwambhar Prasad Sati is a Professor of Department of Geography and Resource Management, Mizoram University, Aizawl. He engaged in mountain research for 22 years, focused on Mountain Environment and Development and Natural Resources Management.
