National TCM Project Experiment and Demonstration of Sloping Cultivated Land Management and Key Techniques of Efficient Eco-agriculture in the Upper Yangtze River was launched in Chengdu on 22th February, 2009.

This project was launched by CAS and cooperated with Ministry of Water Resources, with the purpose of improving the scientific innovative ability for China’s sloping cultivated land management and high-efficient eco-agriculture, and insuring food security and ecological security in the upper Yangtze River. Leaders from Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Water Resources, Ministry of Land and Resources, Bureau of Science and Technology of Sichuan Province, Bureau of Science and Technology for Resources and Environment, CAS, and IHME attended this meeting and addressed speeches, and in total 32 relevant units and over 100 experts participated in this meeting.
