A summing-up and communication meeting for Program of Research on Features and Formation Cause of Mountain Hazards Induced by Earthquake hosted by researcher Cui Peng, was held in IMHE 28th, April, 2009. Participants included famous expert, researcher Tang Bangxing, researcher Zhong Dunlun, researcher Zhou Bifan and researcher Wang Chenghua, et al, as well as leaders of five subjects, other research staff and some postgraduate students.

Leaders of the five subjects: Prof. Yao Lingkan from Southwest Jiaotong University, researcher He Siming, vice researchers Hu Kaiheng and Chen Xiaoqing, and Dr. candidate Zhang Jianqiang made presentations, respectively, mainly on preparation work, research progress, experiment plan, and key problems.

Evaluation experts discussed issues in the five subjects of research content, methodology, experimental procedure, database construction, and put forward some suggestions. The communication between experts and work members makes great sense to restoration in disaster areas.

In the end, top scientist Cui Peng addressed a summarized speech to the meeting.
