A delegation headed by Mr. ZHANG Jian, deputy mayor of Mao county, visited Chengdu Mountain Hazard and Environment, CAS (IMHE) on September 29th, 2009. IMHE held a symposium on Agriculture Industrialization Development Planning of Mao County.

Professor DENG Wei, director of IMHE, highly appreciated the work done by Mao County in the project. DENG hope they will gain more fruitful achievements in the future.

ZHANG Jian emphasized the urgent need for this plan and hope this project would make a lot of sense in the agricultural development of Mao County.
