2010 Annual Meeting of “Experiment and Demonstration of Management of Slope Land and Efficient Eco-agriculture in Upper Yangtze River” Project & Coordination Meeting of Demonstration-region Construction in Three Gorge Reservoir Area was held in Zhongxian, Chongqing on March 5th, 2010.

Chief scientist Prof. WEN Anbang made presentations on research progress and plan for 2010. This project was highly appraised by Mr.ZHOU Ju from Bureau of Science and Technology for Resource and Environment, CAS and Mr.TIAN Yufeng, deputy director of Bureau of Science and Technology of Zhongxian County. They both emphasized that achievements of this project should be widely used in activities of sloping land remediation and efficient agriculture production in order to promote the local economic development.

After the meeting, 60 participants visited Zhongxian Demonstration-region.
