IMHE Makes Important Breakthrough in Pre-reinforced Structure in High Cutting Slope TEXT SIZE: A A A

Slope failures or even landslides in high cutting slopes may cause huge economic losses and casualties, whereas pre-reinforced technique presents an effective stabilization method.

 pre-reinforced high cutting slope
IMHE research group, led by Prof. HE Siming, proposed a new method for applying pre-reinforced technique into retaining high cutting slopes. HE’s group made the mechanism research of pre-diagnosis of high cutting slope and pre-reinforced technique, and developed a new type of pre-reinforced structure and construction method. By now, HE’s group has published more than 20 papers and applied 3 patents

Pre-reinforced technique has several advantages such as low investment, quick speed of construction, environment friendly and remarkable social benefits. It’s proved that this technique has been successfully applied into National Highway No. 317, China-Nepal Highway and S306 Project and made good progress in economic and social effects.
