IMHE scientists, headed by Researcher Cui Peng, have accomplished secondary geo-hazard investigation about more than 20 places in Lushan County.

According to the survey, Scientists analyzed the type, scale, cause and characteristic of disaster induced by the earthquake. Scientists also found that the collapse was the main secondary disaster of the earthquake. The collapse distributed along highway and river valley, and occurs frequently.

IMHE team will move to Baoxing County to carry out secondary geo-hazard investigation if traffic conditions allow.
