Xainza Alpine Steppe and Wetland Ecosystem Observation Station TEXT SIZE: A A A

Built in 2010, it is a key station that safeguards the state ecological safety monitoring system on the Tibet plateau. Surrounding the major scientific issues during the protection and construction of national ecological security barrier, the station conducts research on mechanism and scale effect of ecological safety barrier function of ecosystem, such as alpine grassland and alpine wetland etc. and observation research and demonstration of environmental changes of plateau, ecological process and control technology under the three context of plateau uplift, global change and human activities with water, carbon and nitrogen as its key line.
