“Ecological City Construction Planning of Dujiangyan City”，which completed by WANG Yukuang, Professor of Research Center of Mountain Development, Chengdu Mountain Hazard and Environment, CAS, has passed evaluation.

Dujiangyan Government and Chengdu Environmental Protection Bureau joint held an Evaluation Meeting for“Ecological City Construction Planning of Dujiangyan City”on December 24th, 2009. The Planning was highly regarded by experts from Sichuan Academy of Social Science, Sichuan University, Sichuan Normal University, Chengdu Institute of Eco-Environment Science and Southwest Jiaotong University.

The Planning was considered as an important guide for eco-city strategic construction, which points out the direction to built ecological function regionalization, ecological functional protection, ecological industry distribution and comprehensive environmental rehabilitation.
