Currently there is a lack of specified slope debris flow prevention system. In response, aiming to solve the disaster of slope debris flow, especially in places where the clay content of the soil is high, IMHE designed a water-rock separation prevention system.

According to the theory of “slope stability will be improved by separated water and soil”, this prevention system built a technical architecture combined by geotechnical resistance engineering, drainage systems and bio-controlling methods. So far, this prevention system has been successfully used to prevent slope debris flow in Puyang and Hongkou Town.
